DEVON OPEN TRACK AND FIELD MEETING ROUND 3 of 4 – Plymouth Brickfields Athletic Track Sunday 12th July 2015 VERY WELL DONE TO ALL AT DEVON OPEN PLYMOUTH TODAY Big increase of points for TeamTORBAY AC at round 3. RESULTS www.tavistockathletics.co.uk/devonopenserieshome.html Devon Open 2015 Table Round 3 Another good turnout from Torbay Athletic club members at Plymouth. 3 adults and 14 juniors. A damp day in Plymouth which must have put off a few as the round 3 event had only 173 athletes competing compared to previous events. But those who did attend seemed to enjoy themselves and some great competition took place and many wins from club members. Torbay dropped from 4th in table to 5th but this could all change back at round 4 on Sunday August 9th. Top 4 athletic clubs in the league table of the Devon Open Meeting enjoy all weather track faciltiy. Torbay AC nearest track is at Exeter Arena. Considering lack of good facility in Torbay AC the club does extremely well thanks to great team and coaches. The Devon Open is four meetings during the Summer, Round 1 is at Braunton Track, Round 2 is at Tavistock Athletic Track, Round 3 is at Plymouth and Round 4 back to Braunton. Considering Torbay has only a summer grass track they are doing extremely well in the Devon Open currently in 5th place.
